Our employees boast an average of 9 years Xuber product experience and 12 years insurance market experience. This level of understanding and knowledge aligns us perfectly to design solutions that not only meet, but exceed all expectations.
Executive Director

Chris joined Xuber in August 2014 as Executive Director. He has over 30 years of experience in the technology and software industry, 17 of which were spent at Oracle. During that time he led a number of substantial software and services businesses for the Global IT provider, with his previous role being Senior Vice President and Global head of Oracle’s ISV, OEM and Java business.

Chief Technology Officer

Alan Hartwell is the Chief Technology Officer for Xuber. Prior to joining Xuber Alan was responsible for Oracle's Security and Identity Management business across the EMEA region. In his previous career he joined Oracle's Financial Services area of the business in 1998 before moving to the Internet Solutions Group. Following this, Alan became the Oracle Database 9i Solutions Sales Leader for the UK and then progressed to the roles of Vice President of Marketing for the UK, Ireland and South Africa and Vice President of Sales, Engineered Solutions. Previous experience also includes being Vice President for Consulting UK, Ireland & South Africa, where Alan was responsible for developing the Oracle Consulting Business, focusing on using innovation as the key driver to find new markets and new ways of doing business with both existing and new customers. Prior to joining Oracle, Alan headed up several pre-sales and project management groups in the IT sector, and also worked in the Financial Services sector with various banking organisations such as Lloyds TSB and Abbey National.

Business Strategy Director

Steve joined Xuber in September 2015 as Business Strategy Director. He has over 30 years of experience in the London insurance market, working for both Lloyd’s and Xchanging. Steve has held a number of senior roles at Xchanging including management of the insurance BPO operations, technical support functions and business solutions. In his last role, Steve was Strategy and Products Director in Xchanging’s insurance division with responsibility for the innovation, direction and delivery of new products and services to insurance carriers and brokers. Steve is also a director of Total Objects Limited, an Xchanging subsidiary company.

Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

Phil Race is Xuber’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, responsible for developing Xuber’s go to market sales strategy and proposition. Prior to joining Xuber in 2015, Phil was Managing Director of Agencyport Software Europe before its acquisition by Xchanging. During his five year tenure at Agencyport, Phil transformed the business by building a strong team and focusing on product investment, leading to the creation of OPEN Suite. Prior to Agencyport, Phil was head of SSP’s insurer practice servicing 120 global clients. Formerly, Phil was Chief Executive and member of the Executive Board at Sirius Financial Systems before its acquisition by SSP and held several senior positions at LogicaCMG. He has over 20 years of experience driving businesses to deliver international technology projects in the insurance industry with notable successes in Europe, Australasia, USA, India, the Caribbean and South Africa. Phil holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and an MBA from Henley Management College.

Chief Operational Officer

Andy joined Xuber in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Andy leads Xuber’s Professional Services, Development and Support. Prior to joining Xuber, Phil was Agencyport Software’s Chief Operating Officer since 2011, and was formerly Senior Vice President of America’s at SSP where he headed the delivery and implementation of multiple, global projects. Previously, Andy built 7 years’ experience at Manhattan Associates and was responsible for sales, project delivery in the Southeast Asian and Chinese markets. Andy has a degree in Business from the University of Humberside and is an incredibly keen snowboarder.

Head of HR

Julie Humphreys joined the Xuber business in 2014 to drive the Xuber HR strategy. As part of the Xuber Executive team Julie's role includes leading on employee's professional development and supporting the business managers on all aspects of people planning, talent management and engagement. Prior to joining Xuber, Julie has worked for BNY Mellon and Booker.

Head of Xuber US

Mike joined Xuber in 2012 and was a key figure in the re-launch of the Xchanging software division into the US market. During his tenure at Xuber he has been responsible for securing some of the organizations landmark accounts and growing a US team to meet the evolving demands of the business. Prior to joining Xuber, Mike was the Director of Corporate accounts at Applied Systems, where he held responsibility for growth into the organizations largest global agency and broker clients. He has over 15 years of experience in the insurance vertical both on the broker and technology side. Mike holds a degree from Assumption College in Worcester Massachusetts.
